Every chance I get to wear this skirt, I take it. The bright colors, and print, are quintessentially warm weather, so when we saw a bit of a heat wave this week, I broke it out!

Leathrette

As soon as Fall hits, and stores start stocking up on sweaters, so do I. In order from buying the same thing over and over again, I look for a lot of detail variations in each piece, to keep some diversity. The leather panel on this one toughens up your average sweater, without losing it's warm, and cozy qualities.

Nicolas Ghesquiere is leaving Baleciaga at the end of this month, and the announcement was HUGE news yesterday. Nicolas is a true artist, and I cannot wait to see his future ventures!

Cable Knit

I truly believe that cardigans are more versatile than you would think. For this outfit, instead of throwing on a blazer, for work, like I normally would, I thought a cable knit cardigan, with elbow patch details, would be the perfect alternative. It makes the look a little more casual, without losing any professionalism. Cardigans don't always have to be a cover-up, they too can make an outfit!

Trend Spotting: Capes

Capes are making a huge come back this Fall/Winter season. They were way more prominent on the runways, and retailers are coming out with more interpretations than ever before. Try out a sweater version, if the full structure of a coat would be too much. If you, on the other hand, are more daring, try a paid version to really up the ante!

Bohemian

Something about Fall's cool, crisp weather brings out the bohemian in me. I sometimes love to gravitate towards floaty, and ethereal pieces, and layer them on top of eachother. This is the quintessential look I would go for. How great would this be with a Leopard Print coat over it?

Subtle

You may recall that I was eyeing these trousers from H&M's Fall collection from this post. I loved the subtle texture and the skinny ankle cut. It's very modern, and I can see it as a professional closet staple for years. The day I wore this outfit, it started out particularly dreary, so a pop of color was needed to brighten up the day, and luckily a few hours later, the sun peeked through!
