Currently Craving: Kimono

In anticipation of some Summer weather, I have been thinking about my favorite piece, from my favorite runway collection; the Kimono from Dries S/S '13 collection. It would be the perfect layer to throw over nearly anything I would wear in the Summer. Of course, there is no way for me to own this particular kimono, but the options below are nice alternatives.

Currently Craving: Bucket Bag

Ever since my 3-year old go-to bucket bag has been showing serious signs of wear (it may fall apart in the middle of the street) I've had my eye out for the perfect replacement. Of course the Alexander Wang would be the perfect option, but since it's way, way, way too pricey for me currently, this classic Madewell version seems to be reasonable choice!

Since I've been finding myself wearing my moto style leather jackets non-stop, in anticipation of SF's regularly scheduled Indian Summer, I've been looking for a denim version as a warm weather replacement. Currently Craving: Bejeweled Collar

I'm generally not the type to like something "pre-accessorized" for me. I think it takes away from the versatility of said item, however, this jeweled collar top from J. Crew has me reconsidering. The sleek shape, and the crisp white color offset the dainty jewels just enough to make this feel timeless. I'm sorry the picture above couldn't show you more details, but I've seen this in person, and it's just fabulous!

Splurge or Save: Summer Sunglasses

As it gets sunnier and sunnier, you need to protect you peepers from the sun-rays. While sunglasses have become a fashionable accessory they are also quite functional. I thought it would be great to showcase some pairs I'm lusting after, and their more affordable options. Just remember, if you go the cheap route- make sure they defend against UV rays!!

March Must Haves

Can you believe it's already nearly a week into March?! I certainly can't. I feel like I was posting New Year's Outfit Ideas just a couple of weeks ago. I guess it's not a bad thing though. Time flies when you're busy being productive, working towards something you love. 

And since I've been working so hard, above are a few items I think I should treat myself to. I am absolutely loving Jenni Kayne's d'orsay flats. They are such a fun, unique, and chic take on the average flat, but unfortunately they are quite pricey. Elizabeth and James and Madewell have fun versions that are a little more pocket friendly :)

I've also been coveting a sharp statement blazer for a while, and though the Cavalli one above is definitely not reachable, Forever 21 has a great replacement version. What are you guys coveting lately?

Birthday Wishes

Well, I'm turning 24 at the end of the month, so I decided to share the list of items I'm currently coveting for my birthday. Fashion meets functions with this list, and if I were to wake up to one of these all wrapped up for me, I'd flip! The leopard coat by By Malene Birger is phenomenal, and exactly what I've been holding out for. The Mars booties by Rachel Comey are a closet staple, and I need new black booties in my arsenal. The Marc by Marc Jacobs bag has been mentioned quite a few times here, but can you blame me? It's timeless! The Dannijo necklace is the ultimate statement necklace that I'd wear with anything, from a crappy tee to a red-carpet gown. I desperately need a new camera, so why  not invest in this Nikon DSLR to meet all my photo needs (blog included)? And finally... my 5 year old MacBook is beginning to show signs of aging :( so it's about time for an upgrade.

And of course, the most important wish is to have another healthy, happy, and productive year, with all my loved ones in tow <3

Rag & Bone recently released their first ever line of handbags, and I must say I am drooling over a couple. I've always been a fan of Rag & Bone clothing, though it's too far out of my price range, so these handbags are just something else to lust after from this designer.

Bette T-Straps

These flats from Anthropologie are the perfect weekend flats. Hell, they are perfect all the time flats! I love the trend combo here; merging bright colors with animal print. Everything about them is perfect, except for the price-tag. That's a bit difficult to swallow :-/
