Abstract

Happy Monday! After a bit of rain, the sun is back, so I decided to throw on anything that made me feel good this past weekend. This is what I ended up with, and the tough meets girly thing going on is a look I like!

Daytime Appropriate

Through a closet clean-out raid, I happened to toss all of my day dresses. While none were worthy of keeping, I did end up leaving myself with no breezy, hot-weather dress options. So, I decided to rethink something I wouldn't wear for day, and make it work. Layering a plain tee under this strapless floral dress happened to do the trick! A wide brimmed hat, and my favorite oxfords made this look totally perfect for a walk in the park.

Fall Essentials Under $100

Fall Essentials Under $100

San Francisco saw it's first drops of rain today, so I thought it would be very appropriate to go over some items that I think are must haves for Fall. Best of all they are all under $100 and you can shop them by clicking the icons below!

1) A Moto Jacket: This style of jacket is perfect for some cozy layers. For day you can go with a full tough girl inspired look, and at night layer it over a flirty dress for some nice contrast.

2) Oxblood Jeans: This color is the 'it' color for Fall. Treat it as a neutral, like your favorite black skinnies, and they'll take you far.

3) Multi-tone Neutral Satchel: It's the perfect size for a working/studying woman on the go, and the color contrast is interesting, while matching everything.

4) Cozy Blanket Scarf: Need I explain this? Just make sure it's big, warm, and soft, and you'll never go without it.

5) Chelsea Boots: These boots are weather proof (maybe except for snow), comfy, versatile, and best of all, they have an on trend cap-toe.

Tux-Like

I love a casual mono-chrome outfit for days where I can't think of any creative things to wear. It's crisp, clean, easy, and chic. The blazer and high-waisted trousers give this look and pant-suit like feel- and I'm always down for androgyny.

Stripes and Sequins

This skirt seems to be all I need to brighten another dull day in the office. Looking at the skirt initially, I didn't think I could fit it into my wardrobe, never mind wear it to my office. However, you can always count on denim to dress anything down!
