Classic

Another rain/mist look for you all here! This is something I wore to work, to try an remain put together, and weather appropriate. This type of weather makes it difficult for me to feel creative, because all I want to be is cozy. A warm sweater, and comfy jeans are an easy go-to, and the hat is a must to keep my naturally curly hair somewhat tame.

Dive-y

Whenever I throw on this jacket, I find myself building an outfit that's just a bit edgier, and just a bit more "hip" than something I would normally wear. It really comes to no surprise, but I do love the influence this jacket gives me everytime. This outfit in particular is one of Kyle's favorites. He said it's because he could see me hanging out at a dive bar in it. I'll take it as a compliment...

Fresh

Hey everyone! Here is a simple weekend look I've recently worn. I think chambray and white color combo is so fresh and clean, I can't help but mix the two together.

Almost There...

This is a something I wore this past weekend, where I was super excited about the fact that I could go bare legged! It was still chilly in the shade, so a scarf and sweater was necessary, but my poor pale legs got some sunlight, which was nice. And as you can see, warm weather brings out the boho in me!

Addicted

Happy Monday everyone! And April Fool's Day! Did anyone get pranked on??

I'm sure everyone has one item in their closet that they become obsessed with, and want to wear constantly. For me lately, it's this chambray shirt from Joe's Jeans. It's oversized, and ridiculously soft, so wearing it is a dream. For a weekend outing I paired it with a draped scarf, my favorite hat, leather effect pants, and pointy heels for a laid back, yet dressed up look. You'll be seeing a lot more of this shirt- I promise!

Inspired

For those of you just tuning in, I was really inspired by this particular look from NYFW, so here is my version of it. Of course, there was no way I could fit any of my wool coats under my moto jacket, so I went for my trench coat. I really like the final result, even though with the hat it may have been a little too Indiana Jones, as a few co-workers may have mentioned ;)

Leather Look

I've been coveting a pair of burgundy buttery soft leather leggings much like these, but when they cost a good chunk of my monthly rent, I have to come back to reality. Next best thing? Coated denim! At a fraction of the cost, they have the same edgy feel as any leather legging you come across, and best part is that they're machine washable! Which makes it ok for me to live in these- duh. I may have to get myself a black pair in the near future... (New Year's resolution still ongoing)

Have a fabulous weekend!

Black Panther

The easiest thing to do when you're running out the door is to throw on a bunch of black basics, and top it off with some statement pieces. That is exactly how this outfit came to be. A black sweater, and skinny jeans were easily the perfect foundation for a leopard coat, and statement necklace. This week has been crazy, and quite eventful. I'm ready for tomorrow to be Friday, so have a great weekend everyone!!!
