Another Show Outfit

Like I said, I've been going to A LOT of shows lately, so here is another recent look. I've stuck to my formula of jeans, statement heels, a simple top and a leather jacket. It's been working quite well thus far.

Jumpsuit

Well it only took me about 2.5 seconds to go out and find myself a jumpsuit after this post. I'm too good at shopping, and I swear this is my last purchase of the month. AND next month.

Since the pattern on this one is very loud, I decided to tone it down with a black blazer, and sandals, and keep the accessories to a minimum. I love how it turned out, and it's only gotten me thinking about all the other ways I can wear this, to get the most use out of it before the dead of Winter hits.

BTW I'm back from MAGIC, and I have to say it was awesome, but so, so tiring!

Rockin'

I've been going to a lot of shows lately, seeing some great local bands, including Kyle's, and I've always found it hard to dress for the occasion. For obvious reasons, I want to stick to my style, but at the same time, the crowd at these venues is usually much more casual than I. I think I've found the perfect balance with boyfriend jeans, simple tee, and some statement heels.

Day to Night: Part II

I wore the same silk dress I was wearing for day, and took off the jacket and booties. I added black strappy sandals, a vintage gold multi-chain necklace, and a simple black clutch. If you needed to, you could also add a nice peacoat or trench for warmth. A simple swap of accessories allow the fun fit and print of the dress to shine, and you don't need to add or do much to make this dress look cocktail hour appropriate!

Hello, hello! Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was nice and relaxing so you're prepared for the week. Mine certainly was not; a little under the weather, but we don't need to delve into that. The outfit I have up today is something I felt is very casual office appropriate. I'm wearing my white blazer from tobi again, and I paired it with my nude button up from gap. I thought that the two colors were fresh, and bright together, making it the perfect outfit to start the week with.
