Typical

Looking at this set of outfit photos show me 5 things:

1) I love white
2) I love stripes
3) I love denim
4) The above three are quite typical
5) I need a haircut

Have a happy weekend!

White Out

When I saw these white pants from Theory for under $50 at Marshall's, I knew I had to have them for two reasons. 1) They were under $50 (!!!) 2) I could finally create the all white outfit I've been dreaming about in my head ever since the weather started heating up. So here it is below, guys! An all white outfit, with a strip of black, and a touch of silver. This could have been a great new years get-up...

Have a lovely weekend!

Double Denim

Nothing wrong with a little denim clash for an outfit, but if you're like me, and just a tad self conscious of the combo, break it up with a color! For me, a crisp white blazer, against cool blue hues just seemed so fresh and clean. I love the end result, how about you?

Have a great weekend!

Burgundy

Burgundy has been my favorite color nearly my entire life. I've always felt that it's romantic, while being dark and mysterious. With this outfit, I really liked that the pattern on the blouse, and the white of the blazer balanced out the fact that I was mainly wearing one color family. These pants are also becoming one of my favorite pairs of bottoms. Not only are they my favorite color, but the fit is spot on, and the waxed effect is the closest to actual leather pants I've seen!

When In San Diego

On my last day in SoCal, I decided to go visit one of my very best friends down in San Diego, for some fun in the sun. While it was a short visit, it was really good to be able to see her a couple of times in the week. I decided to also take that opportunity to give my very, very pale legs some color. I wore a new dress, and white blazer, for an easy, yet put together look. You may notice that the pattern of the dress is very familiar, but what can I say, when I love something, I really love it ;)

Crisp

Light weight layers, light and bright colors, and crisp, clean lines are all I can see in my future for Spring dressing. I'm so glad I could preview my future outfit formula while basking in the warm LA sun. The white linen blazer is such a closet staple- every woman should own one that fits like a glove. It will transform almost any outfit!
