Red Carpet Round Up: 2013 Emmy's

Time for another Red Carpet Round-Up to lighten your Monday night blues! Let's get to it...

This look was simple, elegant, and Jessica looked stunning. Need I say more?

Tina has had some not so great red carpet moments, but this is a far cry from looks of the past! This dress fits her well, the cut and color is flattering, and the overall look is in no way aging. Score for my favorite funny girl!

By far my favorite look of the night, the Game of Thrones star really brought her A-game. The dress is stunning, she is stunning, and I'm coveting this look.

Happy Friday everyone! I wanted to leave you with this clever little video. It's old, but I stumbled upon it recently, and thought I should share.

Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2012: Elie Saab

While I was browsing runway looks from Paris Fashion Week this morning, I came across Elie Saab's Fall 2012 collection, and was in awe. Elie Saab is known for being able to design for a woman's body, and this collection was no exception. The collection started off with amazingly structured, and fitted tweed skirt and pant suits, and ended with gorgeous beaded gowns in beautiful jewel tones. The entire collection is chic, easily wearable, and still unique, and different. If I could, my closet would be made up of this collection. I've added some of my favorite looks below, but click here for a full runway review.

Emmys Recap

This may be a few days too late, but I did want to share with you all my top three favorite dresses from the Emmys this past weekend. I have to be honest; I was not quite as impressed as I wanted to be with the stars' outfits. Most seemed to be almost there, but not quite perfect in my opinion. Below are the three that stood out the most for me.

Diana Agron: I love her get-up for a few reasons. The color of her dress is not only beautiful on its own, but it compliments her skin, hair and features beautifully. The cut of the dress is also unique, and while some critics thought it to be unflattering, I think it balanced her shape out quite well since she is actually a bit bottom heavy. She accessorized in a very smart manner with statement earrings (I love them), a diamond bracelet, and fun clutch. What pulls it all together is her hair and makeup. Her hair is pulled up in a modern take on a retro up-do and her makeup is clean with a clear focus on her eyes. The teal eye-liner was the perfect touch!

Clare Danes: This look is a bit similar to Diana's outfit, though much edgier. First off I would like to point out that the fit of this dress is absolutely fantastic on Clare. She has always been a more daring person to watch on the red carpet, and this is no exception. Some people thought this dress was too busy, and I can see where they are coming from, however, since she kept accessories to a minimum (just a fun pair of earrings), and her hair simple, the focus is all on the dress, where it should be. Her make-up just adds to the over all edginess of the look.

Julia Stiles: What caught my eye most about this look is the detailing and fit of the dress. I wish the color was a bit richer, but Julia pulls this dress off with her fair skin and blond hair. If she were fair with darker hair it may have washed her out. The side swept waves add to the overall ethereal look, making this a very cohesive outfit. If she had her hair up I would have liked to see a statement necklace, but the way it is is just perfect.
And there you have it, my three favorite looks from the night. Like I said before, I wish there was more that I could have been impressed with. I would have liked to see some daring dresses, or super funky accessories, but it seems as though the girls played it safe this time around. What dresses were your favorites? Do you agree with my top three or do you think I missed someone?
