The Palace of Fine Arts is probably one of my favorite spots in the city. A short walk away from the hustle of the Golden Gate Bridge, and Marina District, the Palace transports you to a different time and place. It's a beautiful structure surrounded by water, and wrapped around it is the Exploratorium, a science museum. In the 5+ years that I've lived here I have never been to the Exploratorium, so yesterday I decided to take advantage of the "free day" to go. Minus all the kids running around it was a good time and I definitely recommend a visit if you're as nerdy as I am.
