Hope everyone had a lovely weekend!
The title of this post perfectly describes how I feel about this outfit, and that's exactly why I love it. The awkward flowy/boxy silhouette is something I found refreshing and charming. I call the sweater I'm wearing my "ugly" sweater. I don't feel as though it's ugly when it is on, but on the rack it didn't look too great. I tried it on anyway though, since it was sooooo cheap, and loved it. It's very warm, though not very versatile.
Sweater: Gap. Shorts: Anthropologie. Tights: H&M. Socks: H&M. Booties: Schuler & Sons. Hat: Forever 21. Bag: H&M. Necklace: Forever 21

Thank you, skippysays! I've recently realized the potential of hats, now I'm obsessed.
ReplyDeleteAlisa, Hi! I usually go to places like the Salvation Army on Geary and Crossroads. Haight street is really good for thrifting, as well as the Mission. The painted bird on Valencia is awesome. Also, Pretty Penny, in Rockridge (Oakland) is amazing, and if you can make the trip there I recommend it. As always be patient with thrifting, and dig. Don't write anything off right away. Happy hunting!
