Another result of my New Year's Resolution, I wore a pair of pants I haven't pulled out of my closet in a long time. While I love the fit, I feel like the plaid is too Christmasy. I decided to keep everything else neutral and streamlined to help keep the "holiday" feel out of the outfit. I still don't know how I feel about the pants, or the outfit in general. What do you guys think?
Coat: H&M. Sweater: Stitch Fix. Pants: Anthropologie. Shoes: Anthropologie.

First of all I love the jacket and the shoes. The pants are cool but I get a bit of a christmas-y vibe from them too.

Thanks!!
DeleteOMG I love your plaid trousers! You must keep them, plaid is going to be huge all spring/summer and in to next autumn/winter. You also should't doubt this look, everything looks perfect, a super chic way to style these trousers! :)

Thanks Daniella! Your opinion really makes me want to give these pants another chance, especially since they'll be on trend!
DeleteI absolutely agree with Daniella Robins. I think this is one of your best looks lately! The plaid pants are refreshing and bright. You styled them well and you could surely make those pants work for the holidays, but you definitely made them work for AFTER the holidays. Love this look! The shoes helped pull this look together. Bravo!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! All the encouragement is making me want to try these again!
DeleteWhat are those amazing sunglasses?! I NEED them!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I've been a big fan of your blog for a while now. Keep rockin those outfits. :-)
Hi! Thank you! The sunglasses are by Michael Kors.
DeleteI Love the pants! I think you are wearing the perfect top/jacket for the pants. They don't look christmasy at all.

Thanks Caroline! They were a tough pair!
DeleteI understand what you mean about them feeling Christmassy, but I think pairing them with neutrals was key -- you look great!
