Cable Knit
I truly believe that cardigans are more versatile than you would think. For this outfit, instead of throwing on a blazer, for work, like I normally would, I thought a cable knit cardigan, with elbow patch details, would be the perfect alternative. It makes the look a little more casual, without losing any professionalism. Cardigans don't always have to be a cover-up, they too can make an outfit!

I agree with your sweetie, a cardigan can be a great way to give a more dressed up look a casual spin. I also love how its neutralising the stronger colours of your gorgeous shirt and printed trousers. Love this look my dear :)
