A Very Tahoe New Year's

I spent my New Year's weekend in Lake Tahoe with Kyle, and I couldn't have asked for a better New Year's. It was low key and consisted of fireworks, spiked hot chocolates, amazing food, casinos, and great strolls along the beach and valleys. Here are a few pictures of the weekend. Calm Tahoe Evenings

The best part about being in Lake Tahoe is just that you can RELAX. There is no rush to do anything and you can just enjoy the days and evenings at your own pace. Here are a few snap shots of my favorite moments during one evening in Tahoe.

Pope Beach

Below are a few pictures taken at Pope Beach in South Lake Tahoe. Since the water has risen so much due to the amount of snow that fell in the Winter, we managed to have our little own beach on the lake.

In Blooms

I've been in Lake Tahoe for two days now and I've been trying to post this for just as long- internet is not reliable up here. Besides that though it is absolutely beautiful. It's warm and sunny and I wish I could stay longer. I've mainly been hanging out on the beach so far and later today we are going to drive around the entire lake and explore whatever seems intriguing.

Here is what I wore my first day here. I was finally able to break out my new Betsey Johnson dress, and though it's black based the blooms make it Summer-y and it keeps me cool in this heat.
