Haphazard

Happy Monday everyone! Hope your weekends were lovely!

So... this outfit came together in a moment of frustration with my closet. I know you've all been there; the " I have nothing to wear!" moment. So I just started pulling random items and this is the end result. I have to say that I honestly love this look. Its a bunch of trends and influences happening at once (grunge, print mixing, printed pants, metallics, contrast sleeves, etc), but I feel that this is unique to me and just so easy. In college, when it came to writing papers, the saying went "my best work is done under pressure" and that's what happened here I think. I hope you like it!

Cruella

Never would I have thought I would wear a faux fur vest, but then again, there's a first for everything. When this pretty little number landed in my lap at work, I decided that in true blogger fashion, I had to try it and make it work. So, I came up with this outfit. While I definitely liked it, and see how cozy and warm furry vests can be, I did feel a bit Cruella DeVille a la 101 Dalmatians in it. Maybe next time I'll try some color to help with that ;)

Military Chic

Here is a look that I would absolutely love to own and wear! I love the Military inspired looks that came down the runway this past Fall Burberry show, and channeled that with this look. The vest style dress with oversized pockets is absolutely gorgeous, and I would pair a white button down to make it a little more crisp. Ankle strap heels continue the toughness of the look, while the red lip, and sparkly statement bangle feminize it. The bag is one I have been eyeing for months, and trusty Ray-Bans are my go to!
