Remixed

The main thing you have to do with your wardrobe is to always mix and match separates to create new combinations; also known as remixing. It pushes creative boundaries with items you have, and grows your closet ten-fold if pushed to the limit. It's something that I am trying to work on, and take advantage of myself. Below I am wearing the dress I bought for my birthday. Initially I had dressed it up with patterned tights, jewelry, and retro-inspired peep-toes. Here I dressed it down by wearing a cropped sweater over it, using it as just a skirt. How do you remix your clothes?

Sweater: Anthropologie. Dress: Zara. Shoes: Rachel Comey. Sunglasses: Ray Ban. Necklace: Anthropologie. Socks & Tights: H&M. Belt: Forever 21. Bag: Anthropologie.

  2. This is why I love your blog. Remixing is the only way I roll. Mostly because i'm forced to, but it's good to see other bloggers doing it and you're one of the best I've seen in a while! Gorgeous.

  3. Kaitlin- Thank you! These shoes are quickly becoming a favorite, and are surprisingly comfy and easy to walk in despite their height!

Aimee- Thank you so much! I have to remix- I'm on a recent grad's budget... which is a sad, sad amount. Hahaha, no reason to not look cute though!

  4. Oh man! I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't discovered the idea of 'remixing'. It has definitely changed my life and made dressing more fun. Also, i appeals to my math-side to think of how many different outfits I can make, lol! I love the color and print of that dress!

  5. MolDiva- Thank you!

    B- Thans so much!

Jenn- I know I would be in need of a closet bigger than my room if I didn't remix. It does make dressing up fun, and even though I am bad at math generally, I'm good at clothing math ;)
