This has probably been the coldest Fall to Winter transition I have experienced in my 7 years in San Francisco. It's even gotten me down with the flu- which I have never had before! So I thought it the perfect time to invest in a new coat! I wanted a classic color combo, but in a modern and on trend silhouette. This way, I could wear it for years, while standing out. The coat I landed on was a leather detailed, oversized wool coat from Zara. For the construction, and materials it's made from, this thing is a bargain! I never have to worry about an outfit either, because throwing this over anything, like a knit sweater and black jeans, makes an outfit!
Coat: Zara (here or here). Sweater: RD style via Stitch Fix. Jeans: Gap. Boots: Rachel Comey. Necklace and Bag: Anthropologie.

That coat is amazing sweetie! Love it looks so and yet so chic! Love how it looks with this outfit and especially with those perfect boots that I adore and want so much :)
ReplyDeleteTake care and hope you feel better soon,

Thank you Daniella! There are a few boots of yours I have my eye on ;)
DeleteThat coat is awesome! Is the leather sleeve portion warm? You know, for someone dealing with Northeast winters? :D
ReplyDeleteHey! Thank you :) The leather sleeve portion is slightly insulated, but I would still recommend wearing a warm sweater underneath for extra warmth. Or gloves. Last night was about 37 degrees F, and I had a cashmere cardi layered under and I was good!
DeleteLove the leather sleeves on the jacket! They pull the whole outfit together!

Thank you! I think so too! They add the perfect amount of edge as well.
DeleteBeautiful outfit. The necklace is my favorite part. You always have the best Anthropologie pieces!

DeleteWhat size did u get? Is it tts?
ReplyDeleteHi Helen! I got a size small. I definitely think it's true to size, and leaves enough room to layer :)
