Almost There...

This is a something I wore this past weekend, where I was super excited about the fact that I could go bare legged! It was still chilly in the shade, so a scarf and sweater was necessary, but my poor pale legs got some sunlight, which was nice. And as you can see, warm weather brings out the boho in me!

Lady Grunge

Hey everyone! I hope you had a lovely weekend! Tahoe was beautiful, and I'll try to post some pictures sometime this weekend.

This is a look I wore back in Los Angeles, when I was visiting my parents for Thanksgiving. The weather was so mild, and comfortable, I was glad I was able to break out my leather skirt one more time, for a bare legged look. I definitely stuck to a semi-grunge look here with a denim shirt, utility jacket, and ankle booties. I've definitely been veering towards tougher and more masculine looks lately, while trying to keep warm!

Fall Texture

I'm really excited about this post for a few reasons: this is one of my favorite outfits, it's a perfect example of how to wear popular Fall materials, and the photos came out great thanks to Jocelyn! I've mentioned before that Fall is going to be the season to explore leather, and here I am wearing a leather contrast sleeve sweater, that is super cozy for Fall and Winter, and a flirty leather mini skirt. To go with the urban feel, I thought my Pendleton hat would be the perfect topper.

Trendspotting: Leather Wears

Leather is such a popular fabric for Fall, but this time around, instead of sticking to good old leather jackets and boots, be adventurous and try a leather midi dress, shirt, or pleated skirt. There are new colors, and treatments popping up every day, so get creative!

Denim and Leather

Happy, happy Friday everyone! So glad it's the weekend, and it's looking to be a beautiful one. I'm a big fan of combining two timeless materials in an outfit, so leather and denim is a no brainer. I found this brown leather skirt at Pretty Penny in Berkeley for a steal, and finally I managed to pull it out for an outfit. I had a hard time figuring out how to accessorize at first, but the practical cozy scarf just fit in, and I like how the brown tights, and booties to help continue the color scheme on the bottom half.
