Trend-Spotting: Pink Lady
It looks as though one of the on trend colors for Fall is going to be pink. It's a color that I am slowly finding to like more and more, and can see this being incorporated into outfits beginning now, and into the Fall. If the color is too much, try accessorizing with bold pink shoes, lips, or nails. You could also try wearing paler pinks with office pieces, like blazers and trousers, and don't forget that jewelry is the easiest item you can take from outfit to outfit.

Trend-Spotting: Sleeveless Shift Dresses
For the Summer, nothing is easier than throwing on a loose fitting shift dress. The silhouette is airy, keeping you cool, but the whole look is easily pulled together by this one piece. Don't be afraid to get daring with different prints, textures, and colors, because sometimes in the heat, accessorizing is not an appealing option...

Trend-Spotting: Summer Blazers
(image)
Since Summer is generally difficult to dress for at night, I wanted to point out a trend, that I find is quite useful for chillier Summer evenings. The pastel blazer is perfect for maintaining an effortless, chic ensemble, while also providing the right amount of warmth without killing the Summery feel. They provide a fun pop of color, and stand out in a crowd of simple cardis, and tanks.

Trend-Spotting: Ankle Socks
Mulberry Spring 2012
I know, I know... ankle socks were kinda cute for Fall, but still hard to fully pull off. I for one am a huge fan of ankle socks peeking out of booties for Fall, but I also think this is a cute look that could be worn in the warmer months. Like seen above, try pairing neutral ankle socks with sky high open toed sandals, a cute printed mini skirt and a simple tank tucked in. It can go from day to night, and will have you stand out from the rest, in a good way ;)

Trend- Spotting: Fluorescent Flats
Now that Summer is around the corner, for real, I thought it would be fun to cover shoe options, other than the go to sandal. Since sandals, no matter how cute, are not always appropriate, and heels can be a pain, flats in bright colors are perfect for Summer occasions. They are cool, light, and comfy, but they also add polish and a pop of color to our light and wispy ensembles. My personal favorite are the coral J. Crew pair; coral, patent, pointy toes, and flat, what more could a girl ask for?

Trend-Spotting: Dip-Dye
(image)
Whether it be a bleached denim button up, ombre tee, sunset print dress, or psychedelic, yet chic, tie-dye piece, dip-dye fabrics and attire are so in for the summer. I love the casual look that the color-scheme offers, while still keeping things intriguing. Won't you join the dip-dye party?
