A very fun and feminine trend I am noticing is voluminous midi skirts, and it's so perfect for dressy Spring and Summer events. Christian Dior is known for this silhouette, but Tibi brought out a wearable version that hit the streets all over the world. Would you wear this look?

Trend-Spotting: Sleeveless Shift Dresses
For the Summer, nothing is easier than throwing on a loose fitting shift dress. The silhouette is airy, keeping you cool, but the whole look is easily pulled together by this one piece. Don't be afraid to get daring with different prints, textures, and colors, because sometimes in the heat, accessorizing is not an appealing option...

Trend-spotting: Bra Top

(image)
I feel as though, if done right, bra tops/cropped tops can be a very chic look for Spring. They were seen all over the runway, and I fell in love. I'm currently on the hunt for the perfect one I know I could pull off, and pair with my closet flawlessly. Instead of baring your mid-riff with this top, a la Carrie Bradshaw, show a hint of skin by pairing it with tailored high-waisted trousers or shorts. They also look fantastic with full, high-waisted a-line skirts, like above, or a tight, high-waisted pencil skirt. To add even more structure to the look, throw on a blazer. Below I have a few top options, paired with crisp shorts, and a tuxedo style blazer. Will you try this daring look?

Winter Florals
In an effort to hold onto the idea that Spring is just around the corner, despite the temperature, I wore my flounciest, brightest, most Spring appropriate dress...with a few layers of course. With the popularity of button-up blouses under sweaters holding strong, I thought why not translate the concept to dresses? It's the perfect way to add warmth, and some quirkiness, to your favorite sundress. The best part is that unlike a sweater layered over the dress, the blouse under allows you to show off the dress in it's entirety.
