In an effort to hold onto the idea that Spring is just around the corner, despite the temperature, I wore my flounciest, brightest, most Spring appropriate dress...with a few layers of course. With the popularity of button-up blouses under sweaters holding strong, I thought why not translate the concept to dresses? It's the perfect way to add warmth, and some quirkiness, to your favorite sundress. The best part is that unlike a sweater layered over the dress, the blouse under allows you to show off the dress in it's entirety.

Beautiful dress, and I love the idea of putting a button-down underneath it.
ReplyDeleteThat looks great with the chambray top- very chic!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great dress! It definitely looks like one that I'd wear all the time. Sometimes patterned dresses are just as versatile as a solid color. Love it!
ReplyDeleteDaniella- Thank you for your thoughtful comment!
ReplyDeleteA Stylized Hysteria- Thank you! Maybe this is a new trend that'll catch on... hahaha
Thatdamngreendress- Thank you so much!
Kori- I agree, they are just as versatile, but visually more intriguing too. I can't say that I even own a simple dress. I'm a sucker for patterns and prints! Thanks for you compliment :)
