Just stopping by for a quick hello, and outfit post update. This outfit is basically made up of versatile basics. The booties from Madewell are proving to be super comfy, and the perfect everyday shoe. Also, this outfit reminds me to mention that the next time you head over to a store with a men's section, do browse it a bit. Most of the clothing is too ill fitting on my petite frame, but I've found some great accessories for dirt cheap, like this fantastic brown leather belt from Banana Republic.

Jacket: Gap (similar) Blouse: Anthropologie (similar) Jeans: Forever 21. Sunglasses: Ray Ban. Belt: Banana Republic. Booties: Madewell (here)

  6. love this! and i have to chime in and agree on the madewell shoes. my clog booties are also surprisingly super comfortable! love the mens belt you've got. i usually borrow from my husband, but his are starting to look less than stellar... possibly from my doing. ;)

    Genya- Thank you so much.

Izzaura- Thank you so much, what a sweet compliment.

Daniella- Thank you for the lovely compliments. These jeans are one of my favorite pairs- especially since they were less than $10 at Forever 21. Sometimes they surprise me there.

Aimee- Madewell has awesome quality shoes! I wish they weren't so pricey though, because they are all so comfy and wearable. Thank you!

  8. yeah, they are definitely too expensive to buy all the time unfortunately. but sometimes i come across past season sales on their site where they have shoes marked down like CRAZY. it's rare, but if you keep up you can score big. a few weeks ago i got a pair of espadrilles for $30 (originally $148)! keep your eyes peeled :)
